Huawei EC156 CDMA Modem Unlock

For my first post of this new blog, I would like to share with you all about how to unlock a cdma modem, Huawei EC156, which was locked to one of CDMA operator in Indonesia.

After searching, trial and error for several days, found and combined the following steps:

1. Download the following tools HERE.
2. Download the following tutorial video HERE or watch it live on HERE.
3. Follow the video tutorial until second 00:46, in the SPC code, don't use the one in the video, instead, look for the 6-digit number as shown in HERE, the yellow rounded rectangular (the number shown in your screen).
4. Once found, just follow what has been shown by the video tutorial, and voila! You succeeded!

The step number 3 can be used to find the SPC (Service Provider Code) that was used to lock a modem for other operator as well.
